SCWR 398: Screenwriting Capstone II

This course is the second half of a two-course sequence that provides students with a screenwriting capstone experience centered on the creation of an original feature length screenplay, original television series pilot or a full web series script. Students will write the first draft of their capstone project. The writing process will include assignments designed to aid students in enhancing workflow, honing the writer?s unique voice, and preparing documents for the next steps in their careers, by drawing on concepts from their major and Liberal Studies coursework. The course sequence is designed to be taken in two consecutive quarters.
