Hi everyone! I’m Debosmita Sarkar, a graduate student in Health Informatics at DePaul University. I chose this field because of my strong interest in Data Science and AI, and my passion for leveraging these technologies to bridge computer science and biology to develop impactful healthcare solutions.
Prior to DePaul, I earned my bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from SRM University, Chennai. I chose DePaul for its strong emphasis on applied, industry-driven learning, its interdisciplinary approach, and its location in Chicago, which provides excellent exposure to healthcare innovation and professional opportunities.
Currently, I work as a Site Coordinator with the DePaul Division of Mission and Ministry, where I tutor students at local schools and engage with the community. Originally from Ranchi, India, I enjoy dancing, exploring the city, and visiting museums in my free time. I’m excited to connect with the DePaul community and beyond!
