Spring Term 2026: Thursdays 1.30pm to 4.45pm
Location: Loop Campus and Graceland Cemetery
Instructor: Dr. Richard Wetzel, School of Design
- Interdisciplinary project-based class in collaboration with Graceland Cemetery in Chicago’s Uptown - a large and beautiful garden cemetery!
- Explore location-based games and interactive fiction!
- Venture into the Graceland archives and research lives (and deaths) of real people and history!
- Build small story-focused analog or digital games for the public to play at Graceland!

For Game Designs majors: Can be used to fulfill GAM 365 or 300-level GAM Major Elective requirement.
For all students: Can be used to fulfill Experiential Learning requirement via Independent Study.
