Hey, this is Dharani Kommireddi, originally from Hyderabad, India, and I am a graduate student in the MS in Data Science program at DePaul University’s Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media. I completed my undergraduate degree in India before moving to Chicago to focus on data science and its applications in healthcare and public policy. At DePaul, I enjoy using Python, R, SQL, and Tableau to turn messy real-world datasets into clear stories, especially around topics like hospital readmission risk, COPD outcomes, and Healthcare industry. As a Graduate Student Ambassador, I’m excited to share honest advice about courses, internships, CPT, and adjusting to life in a new country, particularly for other international students. Outside of class, I love exploring different neighborhoods and coffee shops in Chicago, going on long walks by the lake, watching movies with friends, and going to music festivals once in a while with my friends.
