Bio and Research Information

With over a decade of experience as an executive at industry-leading production companies like Pulse Films and Pantheon Media Group, producing credits at streamers and networks including Netflix, Vice, Oxygen, and Oprah Winfrey Network and experience in nonprofit and branded content development for clients like SpaceX and Mailchimp, Ben has worked across genres and medium in film, tv, and digital entertainment. From 2022-2024, he served as the Director of Content Development at Pantheon Media Group, developing projects from scratch and guiding documentary films and series in deals with networks like Discovery, History, and Peacock. Previously, he spent 6 years with Pulse Films in their Non-Fiction department, producing two seasons of the docu-series BETRAYING THE BADGE (ViceTV), feature documentaries TOO SOON: COMEDY AFTER 9/11 (ViceTV), COLLEGE SPORTS, INC. (ViceTV) and true crime special THE CASE DIED WITH HER (Oxygen). Also during his tenure at Pulse Films, Ben managed a development slate of projects including STAY ON BOARD: THE LEO BAKER STORY (Netflix) and a.k.a. MR CHOW (HBO). Before joining Pulse, he was a Segment Producer on BILL NYE SAVES THE WORLD (Netflix) and an Associate Producer on unscripted TV series for Oprah Winfrey Network, SyFy Channel, and truTV. He first got his start in the entertainment industry as the Development Assistant at Kinetic Content in 2013. Stephen's first narrative feature film work as a producer, SHATTERED ICE, a sports drama starring Charlie Gillespie and directed by Alex Ranarivelo, was inspired by his and writer Jake Miskin's experience growing up in their Massachusetts hometown. The film has picked up several award wins on the festival circuit including the Narrative Audience Award at Berkshire International Film Festival and Woods Hole Film Festival, and Most Impactful Film at Sedona Film Festival. The film will continue its festival and social impact screening run through 2025. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Film Studies Minor. He graduated from Dickinson College in 2012.
