Software Security Assessment
Students in this course will learn how to conduct software security assessment to identify malicious software in a host or applications. Topics include: common incident response analysis and attack vectors; malicious payloads, including shellcode structure; and proper analysis techniques, including reverse engineering malicious payloads and proper report writing. Students will get hands-on experience identifying malicious software.
CSC 435 is a prerequisite for this class.
