SCWR 381: Indie Comedy Shorts

This course challenges students to apply their creator-driven production skills to narrative and non-fiction short films. Students will refine their approach to scripting, production planning, and post-production, all within the framework of low budget, agile filmmaking. Emphasis is placed on resourcefulness, creative problem solving, and independent filmmaking strategies that allow students to execute their vision without reliance on professional equipment or large crews. Through collaborative and solo projects, students will build a portfolio of work that showcases their comedic voice and technical versatility.
