SCWR 481: Indie Comedy Shorts

This course challenges students to expand their creator-driven production skills by creating narrative and non-fiction short films. Students will refine their approach to scripting, production planning, and post-production while embracing the constraints of low-budget, agile filmmaking. Emphasis is placed on resourcefulness, creative problem-solving, and independent production techniques that enable students to execute their vision without relying on professional equipment or large crews. Through both solo and collaborative projects, students will build a portfolio that showcases their comedic style and technical adaptability.
