SE 441: Ai-Augmented Software Delivery and Operation

This course introduces how artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLMs) are transforming modern software engineering and DevOps practices. Students will learn how LLMs enhance the entire development to operation of SDLC lifecycle; from requirements and design to testing, deployment, and continuous delivery; through automation and agentic workflows. Topics include LLM-assisted development pipelines, prompt-driven software design, automated testing and quality assurance, continuous evaluation of AI-augmented software systems, and agentic design patterns. Students will propose and complete a project applying novel techniques to real-world development scenarios.
